South East Asia Workshop on Countering Terrorism & Violent Extremism Online

The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, Meta and  Tech Against Terrorism, are pleased to invite you to join the “South East Asia Workshop on Countering Terrorism & Violent Extremism Online” on May 17th, 2023 in Singapore and virtually over Zoom. Within this workshop we will take a closer look at the terrorist and violent extremist threat landscape in the South East Asia region and how this threat manifests online.

This workshop is applicable for representatives from the tech sector, PVE/CVE practitioners, experts looking at terrorism and violent extremism, and government representatives. The event will focus on approaches for understanding and countering terrorist and violent extremist exploitation online while respecting human rights, outlining models for public-private partnerships and solution-focussed collaborations.
