Ognjan Denkovski (Ogi) is a researcher and data scientist focused on information integrity, P/CVE, electoral monitoring, and generative AI alignment and auditing. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Science with a specialization in computational methods from the University of Amsterdam, where he began his career as a methods and research design lecturer and technical research assistant.
Originally from North Macedonia, Ognjan has lived most of his adult life across Europe, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, Spain, and currently Germany (Berlin).
Prior to joining GIFCT, Ognjan held research, data science, and coordination roles at the Global Disinformation Index, ExTrac.ai, and Democracy Reporting International. At Democracy Reporting International, he coordinated research projects leveraging social media and messaging app data, including work related to generative AI auditing, and line-managed a small research team. He has also contributed to applied and academic projects with civil society organizations such as the Prague Security Studies Institute and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
