Jenny Duxbury is the Director Policy, Regulatory Affairs, and Research, Digital Industry Group Inc (DIGI)
Jenny is an accomplished leader, with deep expertise in compliance, policy and regulatory affairs in the fields of media and technology. She has 30 years’ experience across a wide variety of roles ranging from senior executive positions in large multinational and public sector organisations to small private sector companies and academia. Jenny has held General Counsel roles at Reuters Limited, Airservices Australia, Lonely Planet and Nine. In 2020 she completed a PhD in public policy which examines the role, of legal expertise in value-laden policy controversies. She leads DIGI’s work in online safety and mis and disinformation including the development of the Australian Code of Practice for Disinformation and Misinformation and the Consolidated Industry Codes of Practice for the Online Industry which regulate seriously harmful online materials such as child sexual abuse and pro-terror materials. She was a member of the GIFCT 2023 Transparency Working Group.
