Communications and External Relations Lead
Adelina Petit-Vouriot is the Communications and External Relations Lead at the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT), where she builds meaningful connections with key partners to support GIFCT’s mission of preventing violent extremists & terrorists from exploiting digital platforms.
Adelina has a decade of experience in research and programming initiatives related to technology governance, public policy, communications, democracy, and civic engagement. Before joining GIFCT, she oversaw programs at McGill University’s Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy, contributed to public-facing research initiatives at the Samara Centre for Democracy, and developed civic education tools and programming at CIVIX Canada.
She holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
