In the lead up to our 2021 Global Summit, GIFCT committed to holding a meeting on progress made towards actualizing the recommendations presented in its inaugural Human Rights Impact Assessment six months out from its July 2021 publication date.

We invite you to join our team to learn about GIFCT’s ongoing pursuit to make concrete progress against recommendations made in the Human Rights Impact Assessment as part of  our mission to prevent  terrorists and violent extremists from exploiting digital platforms. This session will also serve as an opportunity to provide feedback on how GIFCT should approach some of the recommendations in practice.

It is our hope that this Human Rights Impact Assessment of GIFCT and our continued progress against its recommendations can provide enduring value to not only GIFCT, but to our stakeholders committed to the project of upholding the fundamental and universal human rights that terrorists and violent extremists seek to undermine.
