Hugh Handeyside is a policy director in Microsoft’s Digital Safety Unit, where he leads policy development on violent content and conduct. He previously worked as a senior staff attorney in the American Civil Liberties Union, litigating and advocating on issues related to national security and privacy. Prior to law school, he spent two years as a CIA analyst.
